    In honor of Tu B’Shvat, the holiday of the trees, this lesson will focus on the values of sustainability and protecting the environment for ourselves and for future generations.

    • The students will learn about Tu B’Shvat as a holiday with an environmental message
    • The students will understand and internalize the importance of values like environmental protection and caring for future generations as part of the values of sustainability

    Opening Hook

    • Find objects produced by nature in the classroom
    • Walk around, investigate, check lunch boxes
    • Compete in teams to find the most items
    • Explain Tu B’Shvat’s evolution and introduce the sustainability theme

    Part 1: “To Work and Safeguard”
